Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

At our production facility we are proud to have 95% of our workforce as women and 98% under 40 years old. All of whom have been carefully selected, assessed on potential and performance and put on fast tracks towards a career development path whereby they strive to progress, build experience, enhance their education levels and avail higher remunerations to support themselves and their families as they progress through their careers.

Most of the liquid and solid waste produced during the processing of fruit is not being put to use, which may have detrimental effects on the environment. Whether its a nutrient imbalance, loss of oxygen and the death of aquatic life, there remains huge untapped potential in the use of fruit waste.

With a deep sense of responsibility towards the environment, Roselle ensures that the waste produced from our food is limited as well as re-purposed to create bi-products.

Global climate change has placed a responsibility upon us to improve our methods of farming, and industrial processes and move towards more sustainable solutions.

Furthermore, we are adamant to give back to the environment that nurtures our business. For the past 6 months we have set an ambitious target to grow back a tree from the seed of every mango fruit we buy. Roselle intends to grow half a million mango plants during the year 2023 from its own seeds.
